Peace Boat US, a non-governmental non-profit organization that works to promote peace and human rights through international education programs, is organizing a Traveling Fukushima Photo Exhibit. The organization is currently having a call for submissions, inviting artists, NGOs, journalists, photographers, and local citizens to submit their top three photos from Fukushima. The photos must show the urgency of promoting a future with sustainable energy.
The exhibit will debut at the SPiN Art Space in New York during the “We are One” art event. The top ten photos from the contest will be displayed on fabric banners and travel the world in a special exhibit sponsored by Peace Boat US with printing by SkinniPants.
To participate, send your top three photos in jpeg format (maximum size: 3 MB) to firstname.lastname@example.org. Include a caption explaining the photos and why they would appeal to an international audience. The deadline is Sunday, July 15.
The selected photos will become part of the Peace Boat US Traveling Fukushima Photo Exhibit that begins in New York and will make stops at international venues. For more information about the programs offered by Peace Boat US, please visit their website.
