If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to speak Japanese, you can practice this week at the Japan Foundation’s Japanese language Conversation Café. Those studying the language can chat with native speakers in Japanese over a cup of Japanese tea, soft drinks, and snacks at The Nippon Club. Moderated by the Japan Foundation’s Japanese instructors and native speakers, Conversation Café allows participants to further their knowledge of the language and culture in a relaxed atmosphere. This is a great opportunity to refresh your memory, make new friends, and preview the JF Japanese Language Course.
The topic is a timely look at oshogatsu, the Japanese New Year.
All levels are welcome, but basic knowledge of Japanese conversation is preferred.
Space is limited, so RSVP by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your name, phone number, email address, and Japanese proficiency level.
