The first Japanese Heritage Day at Yankee Stadium takes place this Saturday, September 12 at 1:00 p.m., the first game of a doubleheader between the New York Yankees and the Toronto Blue Jays.

Origami Therapy Association will present an origami table at the Upper Deck Concourse on the 300 level. Fold samurai helmets and other fun shapes before the battle for supremacy in the American League East begins.

The Men’s Glee Club will sing the National Anthem, and Ambassador Reiichiro Takahashi, Consul General of Japan in New York, will be a special guest.

September 12 is also Cap Day; the first 18,000 fans will receive a Yankees baseball cap courtesy of WFAN.
