Dive into the world of Yuki Ideguchi, a Japanese artist whose work specializes in the transience of life and the conflict between life and death. Through “Vortex,” he takes on the process of creation and reincarnation through his work with waves and spirals that swallow all kinds of existence. The exhibition embodies the unique Japanese views on life and death that Ideguchi impels outside cultures to understand.

At the opening reception, the Miyajidake Jinja Shinto Dance Group will perform two sessions, the first at 7:30 p.m. and the second at 9:00 p.m.
