Meet the Startups
Axion Research is a digital health startup building on a decade of scientific research. The company uses AI to predict the risk of diseases, specifically cancer and type 2 diabetes. The platform AXiR Engine takes standard health check-up data and after analyzing, provides a personalized health promotion program to patients at risk of deteriorating health.
LIGHTz is an AI-based company that has developed a knowledge transfer system for corporations. The system, BrainModel, is built on AI that generates instructions for employees getting started on new projects. LIGHTz reduces the cost of training and the time spent on onboarding by automating knowledge transfer. LIGHTz has customers primarily in the manufacturing and sports industries.
Founded in 2004, nextEDGE Technology is based on its experience with localization of software. Since then, the company’s core has been internationalization, starting a software promotion with shareEDGE project using its internationalization technique. Currently, they are focused on developing and selling the “touchless interface aeroTAP” and “stereo-vision 3D sensor aeroTAP USB camera.”
Onikle is a platform to search for AI scientific papers for AI scientists. The platform, powered by AI, gives specific recommendations to users and enables them to reduce the time they would normally spend sifting through a number of papers or websites.
SiteSensing developed a tracking system called PDRplus. Based on Dead Reckoning, PDRplus is independent of external signals such as GPS, therefore enabling indoor tracking. The system can track people, vehicles such as forklifts, and flying objects such as drones on a real-time basis. It measures workers’ social distancing indoors. All of this can be done through the use of a smartphone. The system is primarily used in the construction, manufacturing, and retail industries in which much of the working environment is indoors. PDRplus contributes to enhancing industrial productivity by 40% on average.
