Asia Society Asks, "What's Your Favorite Asian Street Food?"

Asia Society recently launched a campaign looking for everyone’s favorite Asian street food. So far the gallery contains just one picture from Japan, a stunning photo of takoyaki. While takoyaki is fantastic and worthy of being named the best Asian street food, there are many other amazing street/comfort food dishes from Japan that should be represented in Asia Society’s slideshow.

Asia Society continues to accept submissions, so let’s send them our favorites from Japan! I’m sure everyone has pictures of yakisoba, okonomiyaki, ramen, oden, dango, gyoza, yakitori . . . the list goes on.

JapanCulture•NYC sent in two entries, and we hope they make the cut.
