Sunday, July 18 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Japan Village Courtyard – 934 3rd Avenue, Brooklyn
Enjoy great music in the Japan Village Courtyard this weekend!
Originally a month-long initiative from the Consulate General of Japan in New York, the concert series has expanded into mid-August. Ambassador Kanji Yamanouchi’s band @k4 performed at the inaugural concert on the 4th of July. Jazz acts Chihiro Quartet and Mamiko Taira performed the following Sunday and Thursday, respectively.
Take a look at the Ambassador playing the national anthems of both Japan and the United States on the electric guitar.
