THE BRICKS NYC Holiday Art Show

Monday, December 5 through Thursday, December 8 from Noon until 7:30 p.m.

Blue Gallery — 222 E. 46th Street (between 2nd and 3rd Avenues)

Admission: Free

New York-based graduates of the Tokyo University of the Arts (professionally known as GEIDAI) will gather at Blue Gallery to show their art to local communities and collectors for purchase. The artworks such as paintings, crafts, and jewelry are affordable and suitable for holiday gifts.

In addition to the works of local artists, as the highlight of the event, THE BRICKS NYC will feature the artwork of professors and faculty of the Tokyo University of the Arts to exhibit and sell their art.

Meet the Artists

Tuesday, December 6 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

The show’s New York-based artists will be on hand to great guests and discuss their works. Artists include Mizue Sawano, Ushio Shinohara, Keiko Kubota-Miura, Atsushi Ohashi, Takashi Harada, Chié Shimizu, and Ai Makita.

Artist Showcase Music Concerts

On three of the four nights of the exhibition, local musicians will perform. Each concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. and cost $30 (free for children 10 and under).
