Ippodo, a 300-year-old tea company that produces the highest grade of green tea in Japan, is conducting workshops to educate New Yorkers about Matcha and other traditions of this popular beverage.

Matcha Lovers Workshop

Friday, November 4 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Saturday, November 5 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Admission: $45 + tax

Tea workshop includes:

  • Introduction to Japanese green tea, a with special focus on Matcha
  • Tasting of five different grades of Matcha
  • Hands-on instruction in how to prepare Matcha
