Admission: $15/$8 Japan Society members/Free children ages 2 and under

Come enjoy the displays of intricately decorated Hinamatsuri dolls and learn the songs, traditions and history that surrounds Japan’s Doll Festival, which celebrates the health and happiness of young girls. After admiring the doll demonstration, the interactive songs, the exquisite live koto performance, you can create your own dolls. You can also try your hand at a koto instrument during the second part of the event.

Recommended for children ages 3-10 and accompanying adults. And even though this is a festival specifically for girls, boys are welcome to participate.

Healthy Japanese light meals, snacks and festival-related refreshments will be available for purchase by BentOn.

For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit Japan Society’s website.
