Taste, smell and experience true Japanese culture at Japan Week 2017. Organized by the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), Japan Week is now in its sixth year. The exhibit celebrates traditional Japan as well as modern Japanese culture, with the country’s high-tech futuristic, products and destinations.

This year’s highlights include a traditional Japanese Zen Garden complete with white gravel, boulders, moss, and trees. There will be a demonstration where Japanese garden designers will create wave patterns using white gravel. At the workshop, participants 18 years and older will have a chance to create wave patterns themselves. Enjoy the Japanese beauty of minimalism made with local, natural materials.

Food, regional, tech, and travel exhibitors will be on hand to answer any questions about Japanese culture and cuisine and to explain why Japan is a premiere travel destination.
