Chopsticks NY presents a lecture and demonstration on Kado, the ceremony for preparing wagashi, traditional Japanese confections. Kado Grand Master Junichi Mitsubori will describe the artistic and ceremonial style of wagashi-making that he established. While watching his amazing preparation, participants can enjoy learning about the history and future of the practice and the essence of Kado, as well as receive a gift to take home.
