MM.LaFleur’s Rogues, Renegades, and Misfits Sale
Thursday, June 28 through Saturday, June 30 from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
145 Greene Street (at W. Houston Street)
New York-based women’s clothing company MM.LaFleur is having a Rogues, Renegades, and Misfits Sale this weekend, featuring many one-of-a-kind samples and existing styles that are lightly damaged. (Don’t worry, the clothing doesn’t have rips and holes; it has slight pulls and tiny blemishes that prevent the clothing from being sold at full price.)
Launched in 2013 by Sarah LaFleur, a half-Japanese Harvard grad who worked in finance, with co-founders Miyako Nakamura and Narie Foster, MM.LaFleur creates comfortable, inspired wardrobes for working women who have #betterthingstodo than shop. The company’s mission is “to take the work out of dressing for work.”
The Japanese influence is evident in MM.LaFleur, from the “bento boxes” of clothing that personal stylists select by hand and send to your home to the Japanese materials used to manufacture them. You keep and pay for the pieces you like and return the ones you don’t. It’s not a monthly subscription service; you place your order whenever you want. If you prefer to try on the clothing instead of receiving a bento, MM.LaFleur has two showrooms in New York City: the Bryant Park location at 130 W. 42nd Street, 13th Floor; and the SoHo location at 611 Broadway, Suite 401. During your hour-long appointment, a stylist will work with you to coordinate the best outfits for your workweek. Both locations are open from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
But get to know MM.LaFleur at its Rogues, Renegades, and Misfits Sale on Greene Street. Items during the sale will be sold as-is with a 60% discount, and since prices typically range from $110 to $325, this sale is a great bargain.
