Senegalese chef Pierre Thiam and his longtime friend Japanese chef Machiko Chiba discuss the ways in which their respective culinary cultures reflect and relate to one another. Join them for a cooking demonstration using Chiba’s Cook-Zen microwave pot, and learn how to make sushi with the ancient West African grain fonio.
