Sumo Stew 8
Tuesday, July 19 from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.
The Brooklyn Brewery – 79 N. 11th Street, Brooklyn
Admission: $50
Sumo Stew takes over The Brooklyn Brewery for their eighth event. Watch the sumo match streaming from Japan while you enjoy bento boxes brought to you by outstanding local chefs. As usual, you’ll be served a hearty, steaming bowl of chankonabe (sumo stew), and there will be plenty of beer and Japanese spirits to wash it all down. Get your sumo-inspired tenugui from Wuhao newyork Inc.
Learn all about the Sumo Stew craze from the event’s founder, Michael Harlan Turkell, in his article that was published by The Huffington Post last week.
