World Sake Imports to Host Virtual Tour of Brewery in Fukushima

Nagurayama Brewery: Virtual Tour and Tasting

Tuesday, March 16 at 9:00 p.m. EDT

Online via Zoom

Admission: Free

The Aizu region of Fukushima Prefecture is one of the great brewing regions of Japan, with Aizu-Wakamatsu as its center. Here Nagurayama Brewing Company makes sakes in the classic Fukushima style: richly aromatic with flavor amplitude to match.

The brewery’s president, Takeo Matsumoto, led the movement to elevate the quality of the region’s sakes. Today Fukushima wins more gold awards at the Japan National Sake Appraisal than any other prefecture.

You can also taste along with the brewmaster during this event! When you register you will receive a confirmation email that lists the retailers who sell the sakes in your area.
