CRS and Mar Creation, Inc. continue their seasonal concert series Four Seasons in New York — Gems of Japanese Music, where guests discover traditional Japanese music by acclaimed koto and shamisen player Yoko Reikano Kimura, whose wide-ranging repertoire features classical music and improvisational pieces.

Since her last concert in this series in April, Kimura has traveled and performed in Virginia, Japan, and the UK. For this summer concert, Kimura has chosen three pieces that she performed during the first half of 2018.

In addition to Kimura’s music, mochi Rin will serve handmade Japanese confectionary.
