Step into a day of vintage fashion, handmade artistry, cosplay inspiration, and creative workshops at Kaede’s Vintage Kimono Sale! This Saturday, Kaede Kimonos + The Dark Fae Collaborative are hosting a special shopping and community event.

• A curated selection of vintage Japanese kimonos, yukata, accessories, and unique fashion finds from Kaede Kimonos

• Special guest collaboration with The Dark Fae Collaborative featuring:

  • 3D printed fantasy and cosplay items

  • Custom handmade masks

  • Accessories and collectibles for cosplayers, creators, and fantasy lovers

  • Immersive creative workshops hosted by members of The Dark Fae Collaborative

Craft Social: Rosette Making

Learn to create decorative ribbon rosettes inspired by Lolita fashion, ita bags, party favors, and kawaii aesthetics in this cozy, beginner-friendly craft social.

Attendees will

  • Use crafting tools and materials provided

Vintage Kimono Sale at Kaede Kimonos

Saturday, December 21 from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Visit Kaede Kimonos for their last vintage kimono sale of the year and enjoy discounts of 30% to 50% off their inventory. Get a sneak peek at their 2025 kimono collection as well.

Final JAPAN Fes of 2023

The final JAPAN Fes of the year is tomorrow, October 28. More than 60 Japanese vendors will provide most delicious Japanese street fair experience in New York. JAPAN Fes is also welcoming two special vendors from Japan. One is from Hokkaido and will serve a luxurious kaisen-don (seafood bowl); the other is a traditional kokeshi doll maker from Fukushima. Don’t miss this one-day-only opportunity!

As usual, you’ll be able to purchase fluffy takoyaki, award-winning ramen, savory okonomiyaki, and more amazing Japanese treats!
